Buffalo Linkstation LS220D with two 2TB Hard Drives disks. Desktop NAS (Network-Attached Storage).
In original packing. No smoking, no pets, no kids house. Both disks set to RAID 1.
RAID 1 (Redundant Array of Independent Disks Level 1) is a disk configuration that mirrors data across two or more drives, creating an exact copy (mirror image) on each, offering high data redundancy and fault tolerance, meaning if one drive fails, the system continues to operate using the mirrored drive, providing excellent reliability and read performance at the cost of storage capacity.
Each drive was separately scanned by the Buffalo software and show no bad blocks (see pictures). The RAID 1 array was created, initialized and checks showing no error. Ready to use.
DHCP allow you to connect to any network without doing anything. Login and Password are on a label on the device.
The software can be downloaded at https://buffaloamericas.com/support/downloads/linkstation-200-series. I can provide it on a flash drive also.
It was lightly used once every 6 months to back up data from my home network. Was switch off after that to avoid hacking. Nearly mint condition.
