I am looking to sublease my pet friendly 1 bd, 1 bathroom apartment right off Hwy 69 in Huxley, IA (15 minutes to the commuter lot at ISU) ASAP. I will pay all the sublease fees. Huxley's community is comprised of younger professionals (average age 28-35), and the atmosphere is laid back and community-minded. This apartment is great for a young, smaller family or for a single student at Iowa State University looking to get away from the chaos of Ames.
Central Iowa Apartments is a hands down the best landlord I've ever worked with. The woman in the leasing office knew me by name after two trips there to deposit rent, and she's made sure that a couple of maintenance mistakes were made right immediately after I contacted her. Maintenance is prompt, and your neighbors are the kindest people ever. This whole town really strives to make you feel at home.

This second floor apartment has synthetic hardwood floors that are a breeze to clean, a bath-tub/shower combo, like-new fixtures, a solid wood porch, and the apartment view looks over the courtyard area.
My base rent is $650 per month. My two large dogs cost me $75/month total, and utilities average $60/month. This apartment is within a stone's throw of Dollar General, Anytime Fitness, and three local restaurants (including Subway), and this apartment is less than a mile from three banks and Faraway.
My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Stanhope to follow a job opportunity as soon as possible while I finish my degree at ISU. I'm definitely sorry to be leaving this apartment behind. PM me for more details!
