Looking to start a two-piece instrumental electric guitar duo inspired by Hermanos Gutiérrez, Khruangbin and The Black Keys. The focus is on melancholic vibes blending mid-century Latin rhythms with desert rock. Must be able to hold down a steady expressive rhythmic foundation, have lead capabilities and the ability to trade off melody lines. Bonus if you play steel. Up for doing covers and or writing original instrumental tracks. Goal is to eventually play live shows/local gigs. Looking for musicians who appreciate a clean but gritty tone with plenty of reverb, delay and tremolo.
