This movie is about the Allied powers attempting to expedite the end of the war with a costly operation in 1944 to capture six bridges connecting Holland to Germany that ended in Allied defeat. A multitude of notables star including Gene Hackman, Anthony Hopkins, and Robert Redford. DVD was purchased a month ago, plastic taken off but never watched.
