Honey Creek Golf Club located south of Boone by Ledges State Park.
We are hiring a seasonal clubhouse manager to begin immediately for the 2019 Golf Season that runs through October. This is a fun and busy position and every day won’t be the same. You will be the face of the course and interact with the public, members, vendors and employees on a daily basis.
Oversee the clubhouse on a daily basis.
Book tee times, check in golfers, handle cash/credit transactions, etc.
Hire, train and manage employees.
Order and inventory control for food and beverage.
Coordinate and promote golf events and tournaments.
Manage website and social media pages.
Other duties as assigned.
Prior experience in the Golf Industry Required - Do NOT apply if you don't have any golf experience/knowledge
2 year degree Preferred but not required
Experience with Point of Sale system and computer programs.
Outgoing and motivated with great communication skills
Customer Relationship Management
Marketing skills to include email and social media
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in outdoor conditions (moving carts, cleaning, stocking, etc - this is a fast paced position with changing work environment depending on day)
Job is Full Time with weekend and holiday hours. The course is open every day from sunrise to sunset until winter.
*Not a desk job. You will be on your feet going indoors and outdoors to move and clean out carts, stock product, waiting on customers, etc.
