Salsa Fargo titanium frame sets - the bike frame is a size large. This is a rare and in mint condition 2012 model, built in the US by Lynskey framebuilding shop. The 2012 frame is the last year that will fit a 48 tooth front chainring. 2013 and on a 42 thoots is the largest front chainring that the frame will accept.
Awesome gravel grinder and or just add your own camping gear, and you will be ready to hit the trail with this go-anywhere bicycle.
The frame come with two forks. The custom-designs, triple-butted, Kung Fu, CroMoly which has never been mounted or cut and the Ritchey WCS Carbon Mountain Bike fork.
Also with the frameset is a titanium headset and extra derailleur hanger.
I am the second owner of the bike. When I purchase the bike it came with two steel Forks, which explains why the steel fork I'm selling with the frame has never been installed. The Ritchey Carbon fork I purchased in the spring of 2017. It has approximately 1,500 miles of gravel and hard surface roads.
Bike fit: I am a well-proportioned 5'9". If I were any shorter or had short legs the frame would be too large. The frame is recommended for Riders 5'10" - 6'2". I was very comfortable with the bike. The two pictures of the bike built up the saddle hight you see is my riding height.
Some specs: Rear axle width 135mm QR / both forks 100mm QR & front axle to crown 47cm / Tire Size: takes up to a 29 x 2.2 in
This bike is really great. It is able to do literally anything - from road to gravel to dirt. It is a lightweight, responsive 29er.
