This is a beautiful antique from the past. I owned 4 trunks for dresser drawers in my guest bedrooms but am now selling the trunk that was in my Titanic Memorabilia bedroom. (you can see the memorabilia on the top which is not included in the sale) I don't know a lot about the trunk; I believe the photos pretty much speak for themselves. It is a beautiful trunk.
THIS TRUNK INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL KEY FOR THE LOCK.
As can be plainly seen, the curtain, drawers and hardware are in very nice condition. There is a place for a travel iron. The "suitcase" at the bottom, for shoes, is also in excellent condition! For many decades, I had it on carpet but upon moving it to my garage, I found that it has large rolling steel ball bearings on the bottom which makes opening and closing the trunk very smooth and easy on a hard surface. Almost 100 years later, they still roll perfectly! They thought of everything back in those days!
