Mendel Drucker "Mendel Trunx" Steamer Wardrobe Trunk
This is a beautiful antique from the past. I owned 4 trunks for dresser drawers in my guest bedrooms but an now selling the best two. This trunk was in my Titanic Memorabilia bedroom. (you can see the memorabilia on the top which is not included in the sale) I don't know a lot about the trunk; I believe the photos pretty much speak for themselves. It is a beautiful trunk.
THIS TRUNK INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL KEY FOR THE LOCK.
As can be plainly seen, the curtain, drawers and hardware are in very nice condition. There is a place for the travel iron (available with my other trunk for sale) The "suitcase" at the bottom, for shoes, is also in excellent condition! For many decades, I had it on carpet but upon moving it to my garage, I find that it has large rolling steel ball bearings on the bottom which makes opening and closing the trunk very smooth and easy on a hard surface. They thought of everything back in those days!
I am listing this as "local pick up only" though, if someone wanted to pay for shipping, I would be happy to work that out.
