I work in Ames and it is a 2 hour drive from Centerville. Would like to find a compare house in central Iowa (close to Ames) to trade. Approx 1800 Sq Ft house. Approx 1000 sq Ft built in 1995, then a 16 X 24 2 story addition built in 2006. Original house has an approx 4' crawl space that is 1/3 concrete floored. Addition is Basement with a walk out to concrete patio. It has 18' thick foundataion. It has 2 windows and french doors that go to the walkout. Basement of Walkout has one big room and large storage closet. We use it for our computer room / video game / piano room. Upstairs of the additon is one large room with Cathedral ceiling. We use as a tv / dinning room. the house has 2 regular bedrooms and a master Bedroom. One regular bath and a Master Bath. The master bath has a 2 person whirlpool tub / shower. House has a never ending Hot water put in in 2006. The top floor of the addition has a sliding glass door that goes onto a patio(mostly composite). then off of that patio is a patio that goes to a 21' diameter Pool that has a heater and automatic cholrine system. Mostly new carpet in 2006. The lot is 60 x 200. On the north our good neighbor is the Appanoose County fair grounds(used only 2 weeks a year). On the edge of town. The West of our additon looks out of a 9' x 5' window unto a forested area.
